People at all levels in QICS are responsible for leading and engaging the workforce in meeting our QHSE objectives and targets.
Management of risk is a continuous process and the cornerstone of all the QHSE elements. We regularly identify the hazards and assess the risks associated with our activities. We take all the appropriate action to manage the risks and prevent or reduce the impact of potential accidents.
Building on a strong safety culture that penetrates our strategy and structure, our HSE system provides an umbrella of protection to our business and surrounding environment against incidents accidents, illness or injuries. Our commitment goes beyond satisfying safety requirements or regulatory compliance to achieving socio-economic profit and the guarantee of sustainable development.
Driven by collective commitment to enhance and tighten our HSE standards, we aspire to achieve an HSE performance we can be proud of, be a good neighbor, earn the confidence of customers and shareholders and the society at large. To do so, QICS has established its HSE policy that reflects our systematic and strategic HSE approach summarized by safe Process and safe People.
Our HSE performance can be seen as the progress we make towards achieving these policy goals in a risky business where nothing is left to chance where safety is first and has the last word.
People’s behavior is critical to QHSE performance; therefore, our workforce are carefully selected and trained, and their skills and competencies regularly assessed.
All our activities performed to ensure safe, secure, healthy, high quality and environmentally sound performance.
Emergency management plans are maintained to cover all our operations. These plans will identify equipment, training and personnel necessary to protect the workforce, customers, public, environment and our reputation in the event of an accident.
We periodically assess the implementation of QHSE IMS to assure our customers and ourselves that management processes are in place and working effectively. This will involve both internal self-assessments and appropriate external audits and inspections. We use this information to continuously improve our QHSE performance.
